# Expectations

> Make sure your data will arrive as expected.

The Expectations feature allows you to literally set expectations for the data being processed. While processing it, Nekt will validate the records for you and make sure you never get undesired values.

  Expectations feature is **only available for Growth or Custom plans**.

Select the table you want to set expectations for. Go to the tab to see what has been defined already and click on **Add Expectations** to add new ones.

This helps you to spot invalid values as soon as possible and avoid error propagation to other tables and data destinations.
