# Billing

> Manage your plan, payment method, and invoices.

Nekt operates with a fixed price per month (which depends on your plan) and the concept of credits.

Each credit represents a single run of a pipeline. When you execute a source, query, notebook, history, or destination, it consumes 1 credit, making it simple to understand and easy to forecast.

When you choose a plan, a certain amount of credits are included. If you need more credits, you can buy more or upgrade your plan ([check our website](https://www.nekt.com/pricing) for current plans).

Billing is managed once for your whole [organization](https://docs.nekt.com/organizations.md), and the credits in your plan are shared across all of its workspaces.

## Billing section

In **Organization settings → Billing** you can view your current plan, payment method, and invoices. Only Owners can access this page. Credit consumption is also shown there; a dedicated **Usage & Credits** page is coming soon for detailed usage and optimization tips.

## Workspace allowance

Your plan also includes a number of [workspaces](https://docs.nekt.com/workspaces.md) at no extra cost. The Free plan and the trial include a single workspace. To add more workspaces than your plan includes, upgrade your plan or contact us.
