Dataviz and BI tools are a great way to visualize and share your data with your team and stakeholders. In Nekt, you can connect your data to a BI tool using the Integrations module. We support the most popular BI tools, including Looker Studio, Power BI, Tableau, Metabase, Grafana, Qlik Sense, and more.
Nekt has custom connectors for Looker Studio (AWS) and Power BI (AWS). For Nekt Express and GCP deployments, connect directly via BigQuery. See the Integrations section for per-tool setup guides.
In this guide, we’ll use Looker Studio as an example. It’s free and easy to get started with.

Generating an integration token

For AWS deployments, Nekt’s custom connectors require a token:
  1. Go to Integrations and click + Add Integration.
  2. Select the BI tool you want to connect (e.g. Looker Studio).
  3. Select the tables you want to make available in the BI tool.
  4. Copy the generated token — you’ll need it to authenticate the connection.

Connecting to Looker Studio

  1. Use this link to open Nekt’s connector in Looker Studio.
  2. Enter your integration token and click Next.
  3. Select the table you want to connect.
  4. Optionally set a date range column and row limit (use -1 to return all rows).
  5. Click Connect.
