So far we’ve learned how to transform data and explore it using the AI assistant and SQL. However, the insights you get from the data are only valuable if shared with the right people at the right time. In Nekt, you can send data to a destination using the Destinations module, so users can easily access the data in their favorite tools and systems. Destinations can be anything from databases, files, spreadsheets, emails, or even third-party APIs to integrate with popular tools, systems, agents and workflows. We currently have over 30 destinations. The most popular ones are: Gmail, Google Sheets, Postgres, Sharepoint and Slack.

Configuring a destination

In order to configure a destination, follow the steps below:
  1. Go to Destinations and click the + Add Destination button.
  2. Select the destination you want to connect (e.g. Gmail).
  3. Add the connection details.
  4. Configure the data to be sent to the destination.
  5. Define a trigger and description.
  6. Click the Save button.
Choosing an event-based trigger is usually the best option, as it will send the data to the destination whenever the input table gets updated.
Once the destination is created, you need to wait for the trigger or manually run it. Video Tutorial For a visual walkthrough of how to send data to a destination, watch this video:
