As your wokrspace grows, adding tags to you resources might be helpful. It will allow you to quickly visualize what each pipeline relates to and also get a full picture of all reasources created with a specific purpose or to a specific area, for example.

Adding tags

It is a good practice to define one (or a few) criteria to create tags. They are commonly:
  • Team based (e.g. Financial, Ops, CS, Marketing)
  • Initiative based (e.g. Annual report, CS Workshop, Weekly team meeting)
  • Custom
Adding tags is as simple as it should be. So feel free to decide what meets you company’s needs better and create your own structure - even though we recommend aligning it between your team mates to ensure organization.

Bulk-manage tags

You can apply or remove tags for multiple resources at once from the list pages for Sources, Destinations, Queries, Notebooks, and Histories:
  1. Go to the relevant list (for example, Sources or Queries).
  2. Select the rows you want to update.
  3. Use the bulk actions menu to add or remove tags for all selected resources.
This is helpful when you introduce a new tagging convention, roll out tags for a project, or clean up tags across many pipelines at once.
Managing tags is not available on the Free plan.
